Andrea De Carlo

I was born in Turin on 16 November 1973. After graduating with honours in 1999 at the Faculty of Law of the University of Turin, I started my legal traineeship at Gianaria Mittone Ronfani firm, where I practiced for 18 years, becoming a partner in 2010.
I was admitted to the Turin Bar on 20 December 2002 and I qualified for practice before the Court of Cassation on 20 December 2014.
The experience gained as a partner of one of the most prominent legal firms in Italy allowed me to deepen every fields of corporate criminal law.
Bankruptcy and corporate crime, occupational safety, criminal liability of legal persons pursuant to legislative decree 231/2001, environmental law and generally culpable liability have always been my primary areas of competence.
In addition to legal assistance in corporate criminal law, I provide consultancy in relation to environmental law and occupational health and safety to major national and foreign enterprises and industrial groups.
Furthermore, I render legalsupport to enterprises in pursuance to legislative decree no. 231/2001 and I’m a member of different supervisory bodies.
I’m author of various scientific publications and I often lecture about corporate criminal law at Italian universities, private entities and professional associations (Italian Association of Chartered Accountants of Milan, Turin Bar, Training school for lawyers of Alessandria, Camera Penale of Turin, Industrial Union, Banking Law Association "Cesare Manfredi" and others).
